Survey seeks residents’ input for ‘Healthier McHenry County'
By EL CONQUISTADOR
WOODSTOCK – Local agencies are seeking feedback from a household survey recently mailed to 8,000 randomly selected McHenry County homes.
It’s not too late to send the survey back, according to a news release from the McHenry County Department of Health.
The survey was designed by the McHenry County Healthy Community Study, a collaborative effort of 19 organizations representing government, health care, education, parks and recreation, and environmental and social services.
The survey is one of the four needs-assessment tools used by the partners to guide community planning efforts to meet local needs and future growth.
Residents are encouraged to fill out the survey, which takes about 10 minutes and includes a postage-paid return envelope.
If there are questions about the survey or if assistance is needed in filling it out, call Health Systems Research toll-free at 1-800-854-4461. Spanish interpretation is available.
